SUF DigitalsRefer and Earn terms

Refer and Earn program terms

Who can join

  • Any SUF Digitals artist or label account, instantly, from the Refer and Earn card in the portal.
  • Anyone else (studios, producers, managers, teachers, creators) with an affiliate account created at affiliates.sufdigitals.com.
  • Before your first payout, SUF verifies your PAN and bank or UPI details, and an admin reviews the first payout. After that, payouts run automatically.
  • Vendors who are paid by SUF for marketing work cannot also earn referral commission.

What you earn

  • A percentage of the referred account's first plan payment (before GST), a percentage of every plan payment they make after that (renewals and upgrades), and a percentage of the royalties they earn, as shown on your dashboard when the referral is made.
  • The royalty share is calculated on what the referred account itself earns: the net figure on their statement after SUF's share. It is paid by SUF from its own share and is never deducted from the artist.
  • Royalty commission on a song stops from the moment that song is taken down or moved away from SUF. What was already earned on it before that stays yours. An account that leaves SUF stops accruing commission entirely.
  • Royalty commission on any statement can never exceed SUF's own share on the same money.
  • The rates in force on the day a referral is locked stay on that referral for as long as it lasts. SUF may change the rates for future referrals with 30 days' notice on the dashboard.

How a referral is counted

  • A referral belongs to you when the referred account makes its first paid plan purchase with your code, or with your link's cookie still present (90 days).
  • A code typed at checkout beats a link cookie. Once locked, a referral is permanent and is never reassigned, transferred or split. One affiliate per account.
  • Accounts that already existed or had already paid before the referral, your own accounts, accounts sharing a PAN, bank account, UPI id or phone with you, artists SUF onboarded itself, and white-label tenants cannot be referred.
  • The referred account gets the program discount on its first plan payment. Commission is calculated on what they actually paid.

How long it lasts

  • For as long as the referred account remains a paying SUF customer and your affiliate account is in good standing.
  • A referral whose plan lapses and later renews resumes with you. There is no earnings cap and no keep-active requirement.

Reversals

  • A refunded plan payment reverses its commission. Plan commission waits out the cooling-off refund window before it becomes available.
  • A penalty passed through to the referred account (for example artificial streaming) reduces your royalty commission for that period in the same proportion.
  • An account suspended for fraud voids all unpaid commission on it and stops future accrual.

Payouts and tax

  • Paid monthly in the same run as artist payouts, once your available referral earnings reach the payout minimum shown on the dashboard, by bank transfer or UPI in Indian rupees.
  • Referral earnings are paid as a separate payment from any royalties and are never merged with them.
  • TDS on commission is deducted as the law requires (currently 2% with a PAN and 20% without, once commission for the financial year crosses the annual threshold). A TDS certificate is issued.
  • If you are GST registered, GST is added to the commission against your invoice. If you are not registered, no GST applies.

Not allowed

  • Referring yourself or accounts you control.
  • Paid search ads on the name SUF Digitals or misspellings of it.
  • Posting your code on coupon, deal or voucher sites.
  • Any claim of guaranteed streams, playlist placements or earnings, or presenting yourself as SUF Digitals.
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging.
  • A breach ends the affiliate account and forfeits unpaid commission.

Version 2026-09-14. SUF Digitals may update these terms for future referrals with 30 days' notice on the affiliate dashboard; the rates already locked on a referral do not change.
